Required: Register Connect for iManage with iManage Work


Please note that for the Connect for iManage app to work, you must complete the process below. If you have any issues connecting, please contact us.

The guide below is taken from the iManage Help Center, titled “Register an application with iManage Work and authenticate with OAuth 2.0 and the v2 REST API”.

This process will require admin rights within iManage, so you will want to contact your iManage Administrator for assistance.

To add Connect for iManage to your iManage Work instance, please complete the following steps in iManage Control Center:

  1. Open and log in to iManage Control Center in a web browser.
  2. Click System Setup followed by Applications in the CONFIGURE section of the iManage Control Center navigation pane.
  3. Click the + (Add) button to register a new application.
  4. Click Continue when prompted to upload an application package.
  5. Enter or select the following details on the Configuration screen:
    • Name: Connect for iManage
    • Description: Enter a brief summary that describes the application.
    • Publisher: Xerox Corporation
    • Website: https://www.xeroxlegaldms.com
    • Contact Email: support@xeroxlegaldms.com
    • Client ID: 0c831086-7b4a-6fac-c639-06a7210416c1
    • Enable: Select YES (default value)
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Enter or select the following details on the Authentication screen:
    • Does this application require authentication with Work?: Select Yes.
    • Client Secret: 690fa97f-dbd0-9abc-9f5e-867fdfcc7431
    • Client Secret Expires On: Select Never Expires.
    • Redirect URL: https://www.xeroxlegaldms.com
    • Application Type: Select Web.
    • Client Type: Select Public.
  8. Click Continue.
  9. Enter or select the following details on the Security screen:
    • Allow this application access to: Select All Users if there are no specific user constraint requirements. If you have specific user access requirements, select Specific users/groups and select the applicable user(s) and group(s) to whom you need to grant access.
  10. Click Finish.
